'Natchez' is a mildew-resistant cross created by combining L. indica and L. subcostata var. fauriei . This multi-trunked deciduous shrub is upright and spreading. It tolerates clay soil and air pollution and can be quite a drought-tolerant once established. Pruning should be completed in winter or early spring, as this plant blooms on new wood.
